The European Commission (EC) invites all interested market parties to participate in the Open Market Consultation (OMC) for its upcoming European Blockchain Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP). The EC is looking for novel blockchain solutions for the European Blockchain Service Infrastructure. The consultation offers a unique opportunity to provide feedback on the scope of the future PCP and to be involved in and co-create the future development of EU-wide blockchain solutions.

The open market consultation aims to provide market parties with a better understanding of the procurement objectives and the PCP process. It also aims to obtain their input to assess the gap between the procurement need and ongoing market developments in the field of Blockchain. The OMC events will be organised in English.

The two upcoming activities for the OMC are:

  • An online questionnaire, that is now live. Deadline for completing it, next 2 March
  • Open Market Consultation event taking place on 13 March in Brussels. Prior to it, face-to-face meetings with the EC on 12 March, also in Brussels. To check the agenda and register (deadline: 2 March) visit here.
