The CEPPI project, involving Birmingham (UK), Budapest (Hungary), Castelló & Valencia (Spain) and Wrocław (Poland) has released its March 2017 newsletter. The 3-year project aims to save at least 33GWh/year and to develop the capacity of public authorities to implement innovation procurement solutions for energy-related projects.

This edition features the refurbishment of a Valencia fire-station building constructed in the 1970s, currently underway following a memorandum of understanding between InnDEA Valencia, partner in the project, and the fire station staff.

The newsletter also includes a reflection on the first half of the project, a focus on Budapest's PPI profile and the CEPPI Interim Case Study Report . The Report gives an overview of the situation of the cities, presents the activities planned and the barriers encountered, outlines the key learning so far and describes the future actions.
