Second Interdisciplinary Symposium on Public Procurement

The Faculty of Business Administration of the Corvinus University of Budapest and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata announce the launch of the 2nd Interdisciplinary Symposium on Public Procurement.

The 2nd edition will take place in Budapest (Hungary) on 22-23 September 2014 in the main building of Corvinus University, in the very heart of the capital of Hungary.

The aim of the Symposium is to bring together economists and lawyers in the field of public procurement through dialogue and discourse. The organizers have the ambition of reducing the terminology barrier between economists ad lawyers as well as coming across cultural divide while reaching joint wider understanding of practical issues. The Symposium attempts also to suggest reform measures for better rules of acquisition for Public Administrations. While topics and references will certainly involve the European Union environment it shall not be limited to this area, taking advantage of best practices worldwide.
