IMAILE Industrial Workshop

The EU-funded IMAILE project, which addresses supply and demand for ICT in the education and e-learning field, is holding a workshop at the EC TEL conference in Toledo (Spain) on 17 September 2015. The project has identified the challenge of increasing demand for personalised learning in STEM subjects in primary and secondary schools.
The workshop will focus on pre-commercial procurement for this type of product, and IMAILE will launch a related call for tenders with a total value of € 3.8 million. Pre-commercial procurement allows suppliers to develop products in cooperation with end users, as well as reduce the time needed to bring products onto the market.
Participants at the workshop will get an introduction to the IMAILE project, and full information about all aspects of the call. Participants must be registered for EC TEL conference as well as completing registration for the IMAILE session by 15 September.
