Smart Public Procurement Lab

Smart Public Procurement Lab

Can ecological procurement help to reduce public expenditure? Do international trade agreements pose a threat for sustainable procurement? To what extent can public procurement influence supply chain processes? These questions and many more will be discussed at the Smart Public Procurement Lab on October 15 2014.

Featuring lectures by international experts, interactive workshops, and podium discussions, the Procurement Lab is a forum for discussion, exchange and new ways of thinking. Participants are invited to contribute their own questions and ideas before the Conference via an online Moodle platform.

Plenary speakers will include Dr. Robert Kaukewitsch of the European Commission Environment Directorate and prof. Renate Hübner from the Institute for Intervention Research and Cultural Sustainability at the Alpen-Adria University.

Registration is free and can be completed online from May 2014. The event will be held in German, with simultaneous translation into English.
