EMPATTICS PCP Open Market Consultation Copenhagen
This free of charge workshop is part of a series of EMPATTICS workshops taking place all over Europe (Copenhagen, Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza, Paris).
EMPATTICS is a project addressing common challenge to enhance self-management of their citizens with chronic diseases by purchasing innovative ICT tools through Pre-Commercial Procurement, testing these and by integrating these tools in the strategic development of the regional health policies. The project is co-funded by the European Commission and supported by Spain, Denmark, France, UK and Ireland.
During the workshop, participants will learn about the latest research regarding the common health challenge in the project’s regions and about the needs of chronic disease patients with diabetes (I and II), cardiac insufficiency and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The workshop will also look into the concepts behind Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP), which enables companies, with disruptive ideas but yet without commercially available products, to get closer to the market in competitive phases.
