Do we really need this?
The EU GPP Helpdesk’s upcoming webinar will look at the environmental and economic benefits of innovative demand management in public procurement.
The event will take place on Tuesday July 1, between 14:30 - 16:00 CEST (Berlin time) and will consist of a series of presentations from GPP experts from around Europe. The webinar will look at how focusing on the planning phase of the procurement process i.e. the “defining need” stage, can be the key to sustainable public procurement.
New ways of approaching procurement and strategies to change and / or reduce demand will be presented by public authorities who have achieved cost savings and a reduction in environmental impacts by using these methods. Participation is open to all.
