European Summit on Innovation for Active and Healthy Ageing
This year's event will look into how digital innovation will "Transform the future of health and care in Europe" and will unveil a shared-vision on how the Digital Single Market can turn demographic change into an opportunity for social development and economic growth in Europe.
The 2016 Summit will build on the achievements of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA), the Active and Assisted Living Joint Programme with Member States (AAL JP) and the EIT-KIC on Health and Active Ageing.
The programme will be published in the coming weeks and will be based on workshops and plenary sessions, bringing together stakeholders and policy makers to exchange views on what needs to happen in the next 5 years to effectively transform health and care in Europe.
The event is free-of-charge but on invitation only.
