ENIGMA webinar on innovative procurement
The ENIGMA project has teamed up with the European Commission and the Covenant of Mayors to organise a webinar on municipal innovation procurement. This online event will take place on 2 October and will highlight how new purchasing mechanisms can help your local authority to make public services more innovative.
The focus of this online event will be on two procedures - Public Procurement of Innovation and Pre-Commercial Procurement - both of which can contribute to your local efforts to improve energy efficiency and decrease carbon emissions. Moreover, funding available for these procedures at the EU, national and regional levels will be discussed with participants.
The one-hour event includes presentations from Vasileios Tsanidis, European Commission, who will provide an introduction to innovation procurement and the EU financial support for PPI and PCP, and Caterina Sampol, AQUAS, Barcelona, who will discuss Pre-Commercial Procurement for local and regional innovation.
