Modernizing transport services

Modernisation of the public sector is high on the European Commission's agenda as well as in the Member States. Over the past years, Innovation Procurement has successfully participated in tackling societal challenges leading to the increase of the quality of transport services in European cities and Regions in an energy efficient manner.
This interactive workshop on 13 October in Brussels (Belgium) aims at raising awareness among regional and transport stakeholders on the benefits of Innovation Procurement. Speakers include key experts and EC officials involved in the implementation of Innovation Procurement projects and policies.
Participants will debate on how to modernise transport services through Innovation Procurement and ICT with representatives from both the European Commission and the regions, and will learn about newly EU-funded initiatives and projects related to innovation procurement.
